THE TRUST IS CURRENTLY RECRUITING FOR THE FOLLOWING POSITIONS
MINI BUS DRIVER, CARE ASSISTANT & COOK
MINI BUS DRIVER
The Trust is currently recruiting a Minibus Driver to be based in
Limerick City in Pennywell Day care Centre, Good Shepherd Ave,
Pennywell Road, Limerick who will report to the Day Care Co-Ordinator.
Salary will be dependent on relevant experience. This contract is
fixed term (1 year), working up to **Apply on the website** hours per
week.
The Minibus Driver is responsible for safely transporting clients
between their place of residence and the day care Centre as requested
by the Day Centre Co-Ordinator.; in addition to any other driving
duties as required by the Day Centre Co-Ordinator in relation to the
smooth running of the day care centre.
To be successful in this role you will need to hold an appropriate bus
driving license (Class B, Class D or Class D1). You will also need at
least 3 years previous experience of driving similar or larger buses.
You will need a good knowledge of the local area to facilitate the
planning most efficient routes, excellent driving skills along with
experience of driving public/ private buses; and strong interpersonal
skills and works well with others.
CARE ASSISTANT
The Trust is currently recruiting a Daycare Assistant to be based in
Limerick City in Pennywell Day Care, Good Shepherd Ave, Pennywell
Road, Limerick who will report to the Day Care Co-Ordinator.
Salary will be dependent on relevant experience. This contract is
fixed term (1 year), working up to **Apply on the website** hours per
week .
The Daycare Assistant will assist our users and help them with some of
the day-to-day activities and personal care tasks that they may be
finding increasingly difficult and/or be available to carry out more
complex care if the need arises. In addition to any other duties as
required by the Day Centre Co-Ordinator in relation to the smooth
running of the Day Care Centre.
A QQI Level 5 in Care for the Older Person and Care Skills is
desirable.
COOK
The Trust is currently recruiting a Cook to be based in Limerick City
in PennWell Day Care, Good Shepherd Ave, Pennywell Road, Limerick who
will report to the Day Care Co-Ordinator.
Salary will be dependent on relevant experience. This contract is
fixed term (1 year), working up to **Apply on the website** hours per
week.
The Cook will be responsible for in managing and running the kitchen
and stock. You will be responsible for planning menus according to a
fixed budget, all the food prep, cooking, and maintaining the HACCP
standards in the kitchen. In addition to any other duties as required
by the Day Centre Co-Ordinator in relation to the smooth running of
the Day Care Centre.
Ideally the successful candidate will have a up to date HACCP
qualification and a recognized qualification in food preparation and
presentation. Previous experience as a cook in a Day-care centre would
be an advantage, but not necessary.
